Balcony Level Notes

The Balcony level forms a type of Mezzanine, but above the reference floor. It is new to the 2006 plan, and is a cost-effective way to get more collection space in a smaller footprint building.

• Study carrels provide work space.
• Collections here will be some of the deeper and less frequently used areas like Periodical Backfiles and other non-fiction areas.
• The area is elevator accessible and ties to the emergency exit stair.
